This year Eric originally said he wanted to be Darth Vader, even though he'd never seen Star Wars. A friend of ours mentioned his school might have restrictions against masks, so we decided to come up with an alternative, mask-less, option. Superman! Since "he's the strongest of the superheroes." I found a Superman costume on sale at Old Navy, so I grabbed it. Actually two of them because I wasn't sure which one would fit best. And since there were two costumes to be tried on, I ended up with two kids in them. Made for some cute pictures. Then the extra one went back to Old Navy.
