New Year's Eve

During the day on the 31st, we went to the Discovery Museum and got to check out the Bob the Builder Exhibit. It's always tons of fun for the kids and there are so many great photo ops, it's hard to choose the best shots to post here. At night, we went back downtown and ate dinner at Gordon Biersch, walked through Christmas in the Park and watched the ice skaters (for the second year in a row). Afterwards, we came home, got ready for bed and watched the countdown on TV with a little bubbly to celebrate!

Annual Holiday Pilgrimage 2010

Time spent with family, Hanukkah at both sets of grandparents, Christmas at Aunt Sherries, playing Wii with Alex & Gracie, hanging out in Santa Monica with the Carrolls (we got to meet Alice for the first time!), bowling, making a gingerbread train and more. The week is always filled with tons of activities and plenty to keep us busy, as well as happy.

Goal!

Thanks to Hanukkah gifts from Tio Adam & Tia Carla, and their mom and dad, Eric & Talia now have new hockey sticks and goals.

Christmas in the Park

With Talia's preschool class, we took the light rail from Campbell to downtown for a quick walk to Christmas in the Park. We enjoyed watching all of the attractions and spending time with friends, and even found our school's tree.

Hanukkah Party 2011

We had good friends and cousins come for our annual Hanukkah party. Plenty of brisket and latkes for all, plus menorah lighting, gelt and dreidels made for a good time. Eric celebrated Hanukkah at Sunday School with an all-school Hanukkah event that included coloring stained glass pictures, eating latkes and decorating cookies. We also had our neighbors come visit one evening to share in our traditions.

Gma & Gpa visit, Pow-Wow, Cousins come, and more

Grandma Sharon & Grandpa Harley came to visit and celebrate Thanksgiving with us. They arrived in time to see Eric perform in his Kindergarten Pow Wow and we even got in some bowling, and a trip to the Tech museum with them. Eric couldn't get enough of Grandma's iphone and both kids loved having extra attention from their grandparents. Matt & Brennie drove down from Oakland for some hanging out and everyone had a good time sharing stories.
