Noah's Graduation Party

On a blazing hot day in June we headed to Santa Cruz to help cousin Noah celebrate at his graduation party - graduating from UCSC. With tables set up In his friends' backyard, they had a great spread with a taco bar, fruit, cold drinks, etc. Talia spent most of her time hanging out by the drink tub and loved playing with the ice. Eric was thrilled to have his hand at pool and took over the table, pushing out even the college kids to have it to himself. (In photos: Eric hangs with cousin Noah; Talia chats with Aunt Elythe)

To Happy Hollow (again!)

Little Gym Show Week

Both kids finished off Little Gym sessions and participated in the culminating events of "Show Week." Eric, first, showed off his skills on the various equipment and performed an individual choreographed routine. A few days later, Talia participated in her final class and also showed off *her* skills on the bars, beams, etc. They both received medals and were more than willing to flash them for the camera.

Ed Levin Park with the Valeras

We met up with Matt & Jen for a great picnic lunch at the same park and play area as last time. Just enjoying each others company, throwing rocks into the water and peering into holes in the ground (what lives in there?) made for a fun time.

Fun May Pics

Back to Happy Hollow

Since getting our annual pass, we've made use of it by visiting the park & zoo a few times already. At the very end of May we went with our good friends Jack, Elliot and Dena. Riding on Danny the Dragon is always a favorite and on that day we had fun doing the Roller Racers.

Off to the fire station

Preschool was so fun this year with tons of field trips and exciting activities. I miss it and imagine Eric does too, now that kindergarten has started. At least we have tons of pics to relive the moments. We visited a local fire station in May, had fun with 4th grade buddies at school and took the train to Palo Alto (and braved the rain to hang out at the playground) for a final hurrah. Good times.
