Grandma & Grandma Musicer do it all

We had such a fun visit with Grandma & Grandpa Musicer at the end of March. We went bowling, played miniature golf, went out to eat and celebrated Aunt Lori's birthday.

Three Billy Goats Gruff

Eric's been on a major Three Billy Goats Gruff kick. So much so that he can retell the whole story, word for word. He's even asked to have a Three Billy Goats Gruff birthday party. Here he's reading Talia the story. "So, snip snap snout...this tale's told out."

Just Littles Playdate

It doesn't happen often, but Talia had her own playdate with Owen.

Another park day

We met up with Eric's old preschool friends for a beautiful day at the park. The big boys had fun rolling down the grass hill, while the little girls played on a blanket in the shade. Eric also borrowed a tricycle from another kid and rode laps around the park.

We renewed our membership

After letting our Discovery Museum membership expire for a few months, we decided to become members again. So glad we did, since the kids love it! (Well, Eric definitely does and Talia's beginning to see how cool the place is.)

Our Little Painter

Do you think Picasso started this way?

Preschool visits the post office

With Eric's preschool, we went to visit a local post office. It was a lot of fun to see what goes on behind the scene.

Feeding his sister

A few times in the past month Eric has asked if he could feed Talia. Wanting to encourage positive interaction between the two of them, I occasionally oblige. She usually ends up *very* messy, but it's totally worth watching the exchange between the two of them. Depending on the menu, Eric likes to sample the baby food. He definitely favors any of the fruits, sweet potatoes sometimes and always turns his nose up at the meat ones (who can blame him?!?!).

Playing ball

Talia's finally old enough that she can "pass" a ball back and forth with Eric. He loves playing with her. Of course Talia loves it too! And it's so nice when they play together nicely.

Park with friends

After some rainy weather, we were so happy to get out to the park and spend time with our friends Zach & Owen. Here's a picture of the big bros & their little sibs...a challenging feat, to get all four kids within the same frame.

End of the month

At the end of February, we met up with another family from our playgroup for a park outing. I love this picture of Eric and his friend on the tire swing.

Busy, Busy Weekend

Grandma & Grandpa Musicer stayed with us for a weekend at the end of February, but much of their weekend was spent helping Aunt Lori move. Talia and Andrea managed to meet up with them for breakfast before they headed out of town.

Eliza's 1st Birthday!

We drove up to Berkeley on Valentine's Day to help our friend Eliza celebrate her first birthday. Surrounded by her friends and family, and tons of yummy Korean food, Eliza had her Tol, complete with the Toljabee ceremony. The party was at Eliza's grandma and grandpa's house, where there were plenty of toys for both Talia and Eric to enjoy. Eric loved the train and Talia enjoyed the exersaucer. I'll post a pic of Eliza here if Karen gives the ok.

Pajama Pancake Breakfast

On Valentine's Day morning, Eric and Andrea went to the community center for our playgroup's pajama-pancake-breakfast. In addition to food, there were crafts for the kids and a "Bubble Artist" who made all types of bubbles.

Gotta love kids

Sometimes I wonder why we can't all just throw caution to the wind and run around outside (in our underwear) in the early morning (in the freezing cold) blowing bubbles...instead of eating breakfast and reading the newspaper.
