Talia's First Trip to LA

We headed down to LA the day before Christmas and both kids did amazingly well in the car. While we were there for more than a week, we packed in quite a few naps, meals out with friends, meals in with family and an adventure here and there. We celebrated Hanukkah with Grandma & Grandpa Musicer the first night, Christmas the next day at Aunt Sherrie's with all of the cousins, a Hanukkah party with the Fuersts over the weekend and the last night of Hanukkah with Grandma & Grandpa Katz. We had the chance to introduce Talia to a bunch of family and friends, and she was a trouper through it all. We visited Kellie, Alex & Gracie at their house, had lunch with Dave, Blythe, Kaia & Colin, went to Adventure City with Madge, Barry, Melissa & Isabel (and G-ma & G-pa M), and lunch with Aaron & Julie. Whew!

First Night of Hanukkah

We were lucky to have cousins Karen & Gregory join us for the first night of Hanukkah this year. It was great to catch up with them and share the lighting of the candles. After dinner, we enjoyed Family Reading Time together. K & G were so sweet to gift us Horton Hears a Who, along with two other of their family's favorites -(Voyage to the Bunny Planet & The Mountain that Loved a Bird.

Pajama Playdate

Since the craziness of the holidays wasn't going to be enough, we decided to create our own craziness in the middle of December...we invited our CPPP friends to come over for a Pajama Playdate. Dressed in pajamas, the kids got to make Froot Loop necklaces, have a pillow fight and eat french toast and sausages for a noontime breakfast.
